G. D. Panske

Anita Hunt's prints are deeply rooted in places near and dear to her.  She studied art at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, and at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Her copperplate etchings combine traditional methods with newer, less toxic materials and processes. An active printmaker for more than 30 years, she works in her home studio in rural New England and at Zea Mays Printmaking in Northampton, MA. Anita is a Past President of the Monotype Guild of New England and an elected member of the Boston Printmakers, the Society of Graphic Artists (SAGA) and the Los Angeles Printmaking Society. She exhibits her work internationally.
I was born and raised in Southern California. After twenty plus years of living, working and playing in other parts of the country I moved back and met my husband. We live on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in Los Angeles County. My working years were spent in the apparel industry. Skiwear in Vermont and surfwear in Hawaii. I was an apparel and surface designer often using relief prints to achieve a desired effect or application.
